    Workout Log – Sept. 15

    Don’t let the image fool you. No, I did not lift any weights. I attended the Body Beats class this morning and forgot to take a photo. I remembered to take the photo above before I took a shower and was quite embarrassed to be seen by the other members doing so. Hehehe. As mentioned, I joined the Zumba class but there were only 4 of us. It was quite fun to dance around with all that space. Oh how my arms hurt with all the movements and arm raising.     Workout Log – Sept. 8

    This morning, I managed to wake up early and set my sights on joining the Dance Beats (Zumba) class at the gym. I was a little late but caught up with the rest of the group. Once again, I enjoyed every single moment of it despite the pain I felt in my arms and legs. Surely I’ll feel sore tomorrow morning. Afterwards, I did a bunch of random exercises using the Sworkit app. Absolutely no idea what I was doing. I just didn’t feel like using weights. Mostly, I just lay on the mat and stretched.     Workout Log – Aug. 31

    Today is probably one of the days I kinda regret going to the gym. Functional 50 is a class I knew I wouldn’t exactly like but something I definitely needed. I had a hard time keeping up with the exercises but I tried my best despite feeling like dying after each one. If an exercise required 20 counts, I can only do about 15. I TRIED. Like seriously tried. I’m grateful I didn’t faint. After the 1-hour class, I stuck around not exactly sure what I was doing. I planked for 20 seconds, did 10 push-ups, tried doing 20 squats and sit ups following the chart I downloaded some weeks…

    Workout Log – Aug. 23

    I am taking this workout thing seriously. As seriously as I can manage. LOL. I was late for the body beats class (kinda like zumba) and managed to take the photo above before joining in on the fun. I enjoyed that so much. I love dancing. It’s one of the things I love doing when I get the chance. My arms and legs hurt after the class but it felt so good. It was worth it. Afterwards, I went on the machines to tone my muscles, as one of the instructors told me. I concentrated on my legs this time, using the leg extension machine(?) not sure what it’s called.…

    Workout Log – Aug. 21

    On Sunday, I went to the gym after attending the 8am church service at CCF Alabang. I wanted to attend the Punch Kick Class that’s supposed to be every Sunday at 10am but to my surprise, there wasn’t any class. I took on the elliptical for 20 minutes while waiting for 10:30am, since that’s what the schedule indicated, but still no class. I achieved this: Spot the difference from my previous workout. Afterwards, I decided to concentrate on working on my upper body, mainly the arms. I used some machines using 40lbs weights with 2 cycles of 15.     Workout Log – Aug. 19

      Yesterday morning I woke up at 7:30am to go to the gym. I was having second thoughts because I knew I was going to be late but kind of forced myself to get up because I needed this. There’s an 8am zumba class and I was late by 30 minutes. I still joined the group and had a great time working out by dancing.
