Icebergs Metrowalk and Uno Burger Banchetto

After months of planning on going to Banchetto, Mia and I finally went last Friday. Tin, Larry, and Ade recommended Uno Burger’s Forget-me-nut aka peanut butter burger. They said it was so good, you would forget your name. And try we did. But before all this happened, we arrived in Megatent a couple of hours earlier. I needed to use the restroom so we walked all the way to Metrowalk. When we got there, I asked Mia if she wanted to eat ice cream first since we needed to kill more time and rest our sore feet. We went to Icebergs. Waiting. Pretty ring. Mia had super halo-halo I had…

    4/52 Tugstugan na!

There are two highlights for this week but I’m choosing the impromptu visit at Brgy. LS 97.1 FM radio station as my 4th week entry. To make the long story short, Mia and I were goofing off taking pictures with the cutouts of GMA artists in the lobby when a guy called our attention and invited us to visit the radio booth. Since we were killing time, we decided to drop by and had a chat with the people there. They offered to do a quick interview of Mia and gave her the chance to promote not only the show she’s in but also her twitter and facebook profiles. It…

    Netbooster Asia’s #kungheipartey

My good friend Mia Lopez and I were invited to Netbooster Asia’s Chinese New Year party and quiz night last Thursday. It’s the first event I’ve ever been invited to and I almost didn’t go. I’m so glad we went. The event was held in The Bond Urban pub in Makati and I kept getting lost because almost every street is no left/right/u-turn or one way. My frown was instantly turned upside down when we finally reached the place and met up with the people I made friends with online. First to greet us were Ade and Tin, they both work in Netbooster Asia. We signed in and got our goodie…

    I feel like a girl

The other day, after watching Underworld: Awakening, I decided to go on a stroll in the mall. I was not in my intention to buy anything, I just wanted to do some window shopping. When I window shop, I window shop, I don’t go inside the store, I just look from the outside. Why? Because once the attendant approaches me and asks me what I need, I would feel obligated to buy something. I know, I can just ignore them and walk away, which I can do sometimes, but most of the time, I end up buying something I like but had no intentions of getting in the first place.…

    2/52 Homecoming

Late as usual, this second photo for my Project 52 was taken last January 14, in my high school as we were there to celebrate our first annual homecoming. I dressed up, of course, and even combed my hair put lipstick on. For week 2: January 8-14, 2012 I look sexy, don’t I? Well, it’s a trick! I know how to make myself look good in pictures I take. Haha!

    L’Entrecôte, Igmaan and Quattro

Before the year 2011 ended, mom and I went out for dinner with her friend. We went to Igmaan, a restaurant in Dampa. The day before that, we had late lunch in L’Entrecôte. Now that happened last year, so why am I only blogging about it now? Because I got busy, then got lazy and forgot that I had to share the great food I had experienced. 1/52 Hello to 2012

Oh lookie! I’m doing the 52 weeks project, it’s where you would take a picture every week. I don’t know if I could stick to a theme or if I could commit doing self-portraits. We’ll see how it goes, one thing’s for sure, it’ll be something related to what happens around me all week. This is for Week 1: January 1-7, 2012 For the first week [which I only had time to properly upload now, but it’s been my profile photo for 2 days], is this photo of me taken at the backstage of studio 6 in GMA Network. Edited with some apps from my new secondhand iPhone 3GS, I…

    #Maturity2012

Where to start? Well, I already wrote an obligatory resolution post, but right now I feel like there’s so many things I still need to do in my life. I realized I have been procrastinating for 10 years and it has been a tough decade. I am immature, irresponsible and undisciplined for a 26-yr-old woman. How do I resolve this? I guess by making plans. I am never good at making plans, God knows how many time I tried keeping a planner and sticking with it but I would always fail. My current living situation prevents me from sticking to my plans because I always had to adjust depending on…

    Celebrating Christmas

Somewhere in my previous post I mentioned that we already moved to the house in Bacoor. Still no pictures, it’s still messy in here. All I can say is that we are happy in this place. The week before Christmas was really hectic. So many invitations, so many plans, so many things to do. We spent Christmas with the people from the picket line of PALEA. It was supposed to be just my mom, I was supposed to just drop her off but I was hungry and she said she’ll bring food to me then I can go home. When she returned, she told me to come out and join…
